OLD SOLOMON'S FARM
Further Afield
Old Solomon's Farm is well situated for a holiday on the borders of Devon and Cornwall.

Tavistock, an old Stannary town, is seven miles away.  Enjoy its regular craft and antique stalls in the Pannier Market six days a week and the Farmers markets on alternate Saturdays.

Drive through Tavistock and up into the Dartmoor National Park. The Princetown Visitor Centre is well worth a visit and you will pass the imposing walls of Dartmoor Prison. The moor itself is great for walkers and campers and has its own history and heritage.
Days Out
The magnificent and exciting Eden Project is less than an hour’s drive. The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the National Maritime museum, the Minack Theatre or Tate St. Ives all potential days out.
The Sea
Latchley is not far from the sea - picturesque fishing villages, good sandy beaches and excellent surfing can be found on both North and South coasts.
Eating Out
There are plenty of pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area for eating out, including the highly acclaimed Horn of Plenty just three miles away. Tavistock was voted best Market town in 2005 and best food town in 2006 with a prize winning cheese shop selling only West Country cheeses.
